boy or girl??
The men have finished up their spring field work which is such a relief. Sam spent the last week up in Milbank and was able to get everything dug, planted, and rolled in 5 days. Long days and nights - but at least it is done! Now everyone is talking about needing rain.

we went on a date to Subway - Hayden ate a 6" sub!
We had our follow up ultrasound on April 30. We spent about a half hour with and ultrasound tech taking a picture of every possible angle of the babies heart. After about 20 minutes the doctor finally came it to tell us the good news...everything looked beautiful! What a blessing! Baby was not in a good position to get a face shot so we will have to wait 12 more weeks to see baby's face! I can't wait, yet I can totally wait. I'm trying to enjoy my sleep and my first born in the mean time. We've transitioned Hayden to a big girl bed and she has done awesome! She has actually been sleeping in longer than she was in her crib - I'm not sure if that's because she isn't falling asleep as fast or if she is just more comfortable or if we've been outside more and not going to bed right at 8. Either way, we'll take it.

Hayden loves to be close to baby
I planted some flowers to try to spruce up our yard - I love to see the flowers bloom throughout the summer but I don't love to water them everyday. Good thing Hayden keeps me on track. Nana bought her a Dora watering can and she makes sure those flowers are watered daily!

I am busy trying to plan all of my nesting projects as well as some mini vacations for our family this summer. It's going to fly by!
