I read a blog post about this new website that you fill out an online survey about your style. You tell them your occupation, married, with kids, size whatever, usually wear this, in need of work tops, etc. You identify some outfits you would normally wear and type in your credit card number.
I will add at this point that knowing my credit card number, security code, and expiration date off the top of my head is not always a "good" thing. Especially when I am laying in bed while my husband is at work and I decide it's a good night to online shop.
$20 gets you a stylist to read your style profile and send you 5 items that you have 3 days to choose whether or not you would like to keep. The $20 is used as credit towards your final purchase.
I waited oh-so-patiently each day for my stitch fix to arrive. I was so stoked to check my email one lunch break to see it had arrived! I raced home (well, not really) and ripped open the box. I gave Hayden some string cheese to appease her. I needed to open this box and see what was in store.
My stylist, Miranda, picked out 5 awesome things. I liked all but one of the tops. Really if budget weren't an issue I would have purchased 4 out of the 5 items. I decided to toe the line and stuck with just purchasing one. I wore my new shirt the next day because that's just the person I am. I can't let a new shirt just linger in the closet - NO - it must be worn.
So that's my stitch fix story. Interested in getting a fix of your own? Refer me!
