2 month check up

What a healthy beautiful daughter God has blessed us with!  We went to her 2 month check up today.  Everything looked great - here are her stats:

Weight: 9lb 12oz (19%)

Height:  22 1/4 (41%)

Head:  15 1/4 (45%)

So we have a pretty average girl on our hands.  Her weight used to be in the 9th percentile so this momma is glad she is gaining at a good pace. 

Hayden - you laughed and smiled at the doctor the whole time.  I couldn't believe it.  At your last appointment - 2 days after being born - you screamed the ENTIRE time.  It was so much more enjoyable to have you happy.  The doctor was surprised at how strong your neck is - you were looking around and checking the whole room out.  Daddy held your legs down so they could give you shots - I just held your hand and looked away.  The nurse said you'd cry like we'd never heard you cry before.  After you let your big cry out I said that we actually had heard that cry before :)

Daddy swiftly picked you up and within minutes you were asleep.  You are such a tough girl.  Daddy and I talked on the way home about all the worries I had about your health - and that we never want to forget how your health is truly a gift from above.
