Belly, Stats, and More

Seems like a while since I've blogged! I wanted to give some stats updates and post a picture of how much this baby is making me grow - yikes :) We've been settling down after harvest - and even took a Sunday run to Sioux Falls to buy a crib. Baby - you will actually have a place to sleep when you join our world! I will have to post some pictures when we actually get the crib, set it up, and do a little decorating.

Until then, here are some stats:

Heartrate: 151bpm @ 19 weeks, 150bpm @ 23 weeks. Seems to be average!
Weight: 10 oz @ 19 weeks, 1.4 lbs @ 23 weeks. I'm not telling what I'm up to :)
Cravings: HuHot - Pops and Bella fulfilled this craving - I was so thankful!
Kicks: You've had a few nights of crazy kicking - so much that we can see you kicking from the outside. You are most active in the morning and about bedtime. It's been really fun to have other people experience your little life!
Gender: Still a surprise - although Daddy thinks your a boy
Ultrasound: We had one at 20 weeks that put us back to 19 weeks. Another one at 23 weeks - you were measuring a perfect 23 weeks! We have one again on December 16 (28 weeks).
Noticeable baby bump: uh, yeah - check out the photo
Names picked out: Yes, and no. We've got a top 2-3 in each gender category
Excited: We couldn't be more excited to meet you in March! I'm thinking March 3 would be the perfect day to make your debut! (3/3 - cuz my bday is 8/8) I'm a numbers person, don't hate me!

We experienced such an outpouring of love from our friends and family as we prayed and waited for the last ultrasound. The doctors were very positive about the results - there is still some fluid around the baby's heart, but there are no other indicators that something serious could be wrong. We are still praying for you each day little one - you are joining a big world of people that absolutely adore you already!
